Terms Of Use

This English text is a translation of the Turkish original.

These terms govern your use of the AuraSleep mobile app (the “App”). By downloading and using the App you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the App.

The App is provided by Joykek Dijital Reklam ve Pazarlama Danışmanlık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. (“Joykek”, “we”). Address: Suadiye Mah. Bağdat Cad. No: 399, B Blok Kat:1/1, Kadıköy / İstanbul, 34740. Email: info@joykek.com.

1. Scope Of The Service

AuraSleep offers:

  • Sleep tracking with your phone’s microphone and sensors, estimated sleep stages and a morning report
  • Recording of night sounds such as snoring and sleep talking
  • A smart alarm and a bedtime reminder
  • Sleep sounds and frequency programs
  • A voice dream journal and AI dream readings
  • Fajr, tahajjud and, in Ramadan, suhoor reminders

Some features are free and some require an AuraSleep Premium subscription. The App shows which features are Premium.

2. Medical Disclaimer

AuraSleep is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or advice.

  • Sleep stages, the sleep score and snoring detection are estimates made from your phone’s sensors; they do not replace a laboratory sleep study (polysomnography).
  • Frequency and sound programs are meant to help you relax; no claim is made that they treat any illness.
  • If you suspect sleep apnea, chronic insomnia or another health problem, see a doctor.
  • Keep the volume low when listening to binaural frequencies on headphones. If you have a condition such as epilepsy or a pacemaker, talk to your doctor before use.

3. AI-Generated Content

  • Dream readings and the words of the day are produced by artificial intelligence.
  • This content is for fun and self-reflection; it is not medical, psychological, legal or religious advice and contains no prediction about the future.
  • AI can make mistakes; do not make important decisions based on what it produces.

4. Prayer Times And Religious Reminders

  • Prayer times and religious days are based on the data and calculation method of Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet); because they are calculated per city, they may differ by a few minutes from the local call to prayer.
  • The wake-up times the App suggests are suggestions only; you can always set your alarm times yourself.
  • The alarm may not ring if your phone is off or silenced, the battery runs out or the operating system stops the App. We recommend setting a backup alarm for important wake-ups.

5. Account

  • Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your account secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.
  • You can delete your account at any time under Profile > Delete Account.

6. Premium Subscription

  • Plans: AuraSleep Premium is offered as a monthly and a yearly plan. Current prices are shown on the purchase screen in your local currency.
  • Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. We do not see your payment details.
  • Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. The renewal fee is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Free trial: If a trial is offered and you do not cancel before it ends, the paid subscription starts at the end of the trial. If you buy a paid subscription during the trial, the remaining trial period is forfeited.
  • Cancellation: On iPhone you can cancel under Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, on Android under Google Play > Payments & subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep using Premium until the period ends.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies.
  • Price changes: We may change prices. Changes are announced in advance in line with Apple and Google rules and apply from the next renewal period.
  • Restoring purchases: When you change phones you can restore your subscription with “Restore Purchases”.

7. Rules Of Use

When using the App:

  • Do not use it to record or share other people’s voices or speech without their knowledge and consent. If you share your bed or room with someone, let them know about night recording.
  • Do not try to copy, reverse engineer or circumvent the security of the App, or disrupt the service.
  • Do not use the App for any unlawful purpose.

8. Ownership Of Content

  • The dreams, notes and recordings you save belong to you. We process them only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • The App, its design, logo, sounds, frequency programs and software belong to Joykek or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use them for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Changes And Interruptions

We may add, change or remove features to improve the App. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or technical problems. If we remove a paid feature, we will inform active subscribers in advance.

10. Limitation Of Liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for indirect damages arising from an alarm not ringing or from inaccurate sleep estimates or prayer times.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the damage.

This limitation does not apply to damages arising from intent or gross negligence, or to your non-waivable rights under consumer law.

11. Termination

If you breach these terms we may suspend or close your account. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it and closing your account. If you have an active subscription, you must also cancel it with Apple or Google.

12. Additional Terms For Apple

If you downloaded the App from the App Store:

  • These terms are between you and Joykek, not Apple; Joykek, not Apple, is responsible for the App and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  • If the App fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Joykek, not Apple, handles any claims relating to product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property in connection with the App.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and have the right to enforce them against you.

13. Governing Law And Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your right as a consumer to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts is reserved. For other disputes, the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Istanbul (Anadolu) have jurisdiction. If you live in the EU, your rights under the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country remain unaffected.

14. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms. We will announce important changes in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the current terms.
